You could enter any artwork you’ve created in the Media Fair!  Take a photograph or video of friends, family, nature, pet, anything you’re interested in!  Let me know your thoughts!  

WE have a new President!

Hi Third Graders,

Last night, the American people elected a new President, Barack Hussein Obama.  Did you see any of the election results at home with your family?  If you did, write and let me know what you think. 

The President is also our Commander in Chief, in other words, the head of our armed forces, all our armed forces, even the commander of the generals and the admirals.  He has a demanding job, overseeing the entire country’s laws. 

Yes we can! is his motto from his speech last night.  Do you think “we can?”  Let me know by commenting to this blog.  I can’t wait to read your comments! 

welcome 2008-2009

Wow!  The new school year is about to begin!    My very best wishes to all my new students and their families.

Let’s start the new school year by rhyming as many words as you can for the word BEAT.  Go through the alphabet starting with A and ending with Z finding all the words that rhyme with BEAT.  Can’t wait to see your entries!!
